As the field of sex therapy develops, it’s important that professionals have clear visions about the services that they provide, both for the public and their specific clientele. The vast array of options for how to operate professionally with an AASECT certificate carry unique ethical considerations, from navigating dual relationships to accounting for power, all while communicating in verbal, non-verbal, and virtual platforms. This workshop intersects the science of sexuality with communication and business studies to help participants more effectively communicate their positions and areas of expertise in sexual health.
