Each year, the role that technology plays in our lives evolves. As new innovations, advancements, and trends emerge, we as clinicians must remain curious to the ways technology influences our sexual and relational lives. In this course, participants will discuss intersections of sex and technology, considering when technology might facilitate healing, connection, and opportunity and when it might invite challenge and risk. Discussion topics will include, among others: sexting, social media, virtual sex work platforms, pornography, teledildonics, and sex robots.
