Skills Training - Medical Considerations in Sex Therapy: Traditional and Non-Traditional

  • South Shore Sexual Health Center 1212 Hancock St. Suite #205 Quincy, MA, 02169 United States (map)

While the practice of medicine lies outside of most sex therapists’ scope of practice, it is nonetheless invaluable for sex therapists to have some working knowledge of the body. In this training featuring multiple instructors, participants will dive into the biomedical realm, explore information valuable and relevant to the practice of sex therapy, and consider circumstances under which a sex therapist should educate, inquire, advocate, and/or make a referral.

Join us via Zoom to view this training. Participants must register for class by 5pm the day before. In order to receive CE credits, you must complete the evaluation form that will be sent to you.

Participants who are enrolled in South Shore Sexual Health Center’s Sex Therapy Training Program should email info@ssshealthcenter.com to register for this course.
