Substance abuse can have a profound impact on one’s relationship to their body and bodily sensations. This course looks at the consequences, both short and long term, of substance abuse on one’s sexuality and sexual functioning, as well as examining the implications for more positive treatment modalities for therapeutic substance abuse treatment that does not exclude sexuality.
Join us via Zoom to view this training. Participants must register for class by 5pm the day before. In order to receive CEUs, you must complete the evaluation form that will be sent to you. The instructor may also ask for a reflection paper.
This program meets the requirements for the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 3 CE credits for each course.
